This afternoon (Tuesday) there's a large scale mix of nice angled WNW swell along with traces of SW and SSW swell. The tide is dropping to a negative low around 3:00pm.
End result is mainly weak waves in the 8-10'+ zone, as top breaks hit DOH in the South Bay. Light+ onshore winds in the early afternoon for textured+ conditions to a little bump. We strongly advise to not go to work today and get in the water.

Tuesday should be running1-3' overhead at most west facing breaks, possibly DOH at standouts in the South Bay especially in El Segundo. The swell will be rising slowly throughout the day. Some SSW energy will help keep things peaky. High caution is advised as currents will be very strong.
WEDNESDAY
December 4
9-12ft+
Wednesday morning the swell will peak should be running 3-4' overhead at most west facing breaks, with DOH+ at standouts. SSW energy fades to nothing, most south bay beachbreaks will be closed out. The energy will be slightly dropping throughout the day. High caution is advised as currents will be very strong.
THURSDAY

Thursday will still have some significant swell energy sticking around in the head high to few feet overhead range. Periods drop to around 12 seconds as we get the tail end of the swell.

Friday west facing breaks should drop to chest to head high.
